Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced People Department Head to join our team at CSSC Sports & Leisure. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our People department and developing effective HR strategies to drive business success.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in HR leadership, with expertise in talent development, employee engagement, and organisational change. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic HR plans to drive business success
  • Lead the People department, providing guidance and support to managers and employees
  • Manage the hiring process, including job descriptions, posting advertisements, and interviewing candidates
  • Implement comprehensive onboarding plans for new hires
  • Evaluate and ensure the provision of all agreed training throughout the year
  • Assist line managers with performance management processes
  • Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
  • Review payroll and pension requirements on a monthly basis
