Job Title: Flood Risk Management Consultant

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a highly skilled Flood Risk Management Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our Water Management Consultancy, you will be responsible for conducting detailed technical work, including hydraulic modelling, data analysis, GIS, and technical reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed technical work, including hydraulic modelling, data analysis, GIS, and technical reporting.
  • Manage and supervise junior resources.
  • Support project managers and directors by following project procedures, including financial and change control.
  • Actively progress a suite of projects under your control.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with environmental scientists, engineers, and planners.
Requirements:
  • Extensive years of experience in flood risk analysis for strategy, planning, development, or design, with demonstrated project delivery and meeting client requirements.
  • Proficient in 1D-2D modelling using tools like Infoworks ICM, Flood Modeller, TUFLOW/ESTRY, or HEC-RAS. GIS with ArcGIS, MapInfo, or QGIS.
  • Leadership: Some experience in developing and leading technical teams.
  • Decision-Making: Ability to make robust decisions based on available information.
