Job Description:

  • Develop and implement behaviour interventions to support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Work closely with students, teachers, and other support staff to identify barriers to learning and develop strategies to overcome them.
  • Provide pastoral support to students, including one-to-one sessions and group work.
  • Liaise with teaching staff, the SEN team, and pastoral leaders to support students' reintegration into mainstream lessons.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour, and contribute to school-wide strategies for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people, ideally in a school or educational setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage challenging behaviour in a calm and effective manner.
  • Understanding of safeguarding practices and behaviour management strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents to support the individual needs of students.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with a proactive and flexible approach.

Estimated Salary:£38,000 per annum.
