Pediatric Radiology Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated pediatric radiology specialist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. This is a 12-month full-time or part-time locum diagnostic pediatric radiology post, with the possibility of becoming a substantive post in the future.

The ideal candidate will have a wide experience in all aspects of radiology in the UK, culminating towards award of CCT or equivalent. They should be able to demonstrate leadership capability within multi-disciplinary teams and have experience in day-to-day organisation of radiology services in a busy Teaching Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care service to patients together with other colleagues.
  • Shared responsibility for providing 24-hour, 7-days-a-week cover for the Unit on a rota basis.
  • Provide clinical supervision of junior medical/dental practitioners as a shared responsibility with other consultant colleagues.
  • Responsible for outpatient clinic commitments in peripheral hospitals as agreed with the Care Groups management team where part of the service structure.

Requirements:

  • Registrible medical qualification, Full FRCR or equivalent, Full Registration with GMC.
  • Full FRCR or equivalent.
  • Full Registration with GMC.

Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
