Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Haematology Specialist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. This is a challenging and rewarding role that will involve managing the haemoglobinopathy, haematology and oncology service jointly with consultant colleagues.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for monitoring the children who attend the day unit on a regular basis and providing a first-class clinical service. They will also be expected to take part in the pediatric haematology consultant of the week rota and ensure a daily pediatric haematology ward round for inpatients.

The estimated salary for this role is £110,000 - £140,000 per annum, depending on experience. The Trust provides a range of benefits including a comprehensive pension scheme, generous annual leave entitlement, and opportunities for professional development.

The ideal candidate will have a wide experience in all aspects of pediatric haematology, culminating in award of CCT or equivalent. They will also be able to demonstrate leadership capability within multi-disciplinary teams and have thorough understanding of principles of medical audit.
