Role of an Optical Manager at ASDA Opticians

We aim to deliver exceptional service and clinical care to our customers, prioritizing their health and wellbeing.

Our Optical Managers are responsible for managing clinics, overseeing shop floor processes, and ensuring the team provides high-quality patient service.

Your Essential Responsibilities:

  • Fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)
  • Continuously develop your skills through Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
  • Effectively coach and communicate with team members
  • Drive the department to meet targets and improve performance
  • Proven leadership skills in fast-paced Optics environment
  • Manage your time efficiently to meet deadlines

During compliance, we will request evidence of NHS performer list registration and two clinical references from applicants registered with the GOC for relevant roles.
