Job Title: Mission Data Lead – EW Future Capability

Salary: £47,683 – £52,426 (commensurate with skills and experience)
Responsibilities:
- Leading technical discussions and requirements elicitation with internal and external stakeholders, including inter-business teams, MoD, and industrial partners.
- Ensuring the proposed design is captured within the requirements management tools and modelling environment at an appropriate level of authority.
- Developing and delivering formal requirement specifications and other systems engineering artefacts in line with programme timescales.
- Maintaining close engagement with the Radar EDR team to ensure Mission Data Generation Capability is designed in line with proposed Radar design.
- Supporting the development of early careers pipeline within the department.
Requirements:
- A degree or HND/HNC in a STEM subject with a sound understanding of the Engineering lifecycle or equivalent relevant experience.
- A strong understanding of Systems engineering principles, including the engineering lifecycle.
- An understanding of Electronic Warfare and sensors.
- An understanding of Radar.
Desirable:
- Experience of Model Based Systems Engineering and the use of the CAMEO toolset.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Mission Enablement Electronic Warfare Future Capability team as a Mission Data Generation Capability Lead working primarily with the UK Customer.
As a Mission Data Generation Capability Lead, you will support the development and scoping of the next-generation integrated Ground Support Solution, which will enable the operation of the ECRS MK2 P4E Typhoon Platform for the UK customer.
Key responsibilities will include leading the development of the Mission Data Generation aspects of the overall capability, working closely with the UK customer, as well as industry experts, to understand and scope the required future Mission Data Generation Capability.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills to forge close partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, be a self-starter and problem solver with a passion for achieving positive outcomes for the customer.
