Job Title: Specialist Senior Occupational Therapist

Location: Northampton

Division: Learning Disability & Autism

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £36,709 - £43,911 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Specialist Senior Occupational Therapist. As a key member of our Learning Disability & Autism Division, you will be responsible for leading and managing the occupational therapy service, driving quality improvement and service innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the occupational therapy service, ensuring high-quality clinical outcomes and effective service delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality, patient experience, and staff engagement.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication.
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to occupational therapy staff, promoting professional development and growth.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
  • Significant experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a leadership or management role.
  • Excellent clinical and leadership skills, with a strong focus on quality improvement and service innovation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
