Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our client's team in Northamptonshire. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing mental health services to individuals in need. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement client-centered occupational therapy services, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the OT Lead to develop and implement client-centered, evidence-based occupational therapy services.
  • Oversee therapeutic group programs and individual recovery-focused interventions.
  • Ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act and its 2007 amendments.
  • Supervise junior staff and engage in personal and professional development.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to MDT meetings.
  • Foster relationships that promote client involvement and uphold equality and diversity values.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the HCPC.
  • Experience in mental health settings.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to personal and professional development.
  • Understanding of the Mental Health Act and its 2007 amendments.
