Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at LG Engineering Solutions Ltd. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults, and performing preventative maintenance tasks on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our heavy plant and industrial machinery
  2. Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults to minimize downtime and optimize production
  3. Perform preventative maintenance tasks on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan
  4. Conduct general welding and fabrication tasks to repair and maintain equipment
  5. Perform bench fitting tasks to repair and maintain equipment

Requirements:

  1. Time served or other relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field
  2. Previous experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or similar role
  3. Basic welding and fabrication skills
  4. Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  5. Flexible and adaptable approach to work to meet the needs of the business
