Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Early Years Foundation Stage

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team in a Good school in Aston Clinton. As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our young children in the Early Years Foundation Stage.

About the Role
  • Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that align with our educational philosophy
  • Provide individual support to children aged 2-5 years, tailoring activities to meet their unique needs and interests
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of the children during classroom activities and outdoor exploration
  • Assist in the creation and organization of stimulating learning environments, incorporating natural elements
  • Observe and assess children's progress and development, maintaining accurate records and communicating with the teaching team
  • Foster positive behaviour and social skills, encouraging a sense of belonging and cooperation
Requirements
  • Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (e.g., CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools)
  • Previous experience working as a teaching assistant in an early years setting is desirable
  • Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach to create a supportive learning environment
  • Proactive, adaptable, and a strong team player
