Occupational Therapy Service Lead

About the Role
Elysium Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapy Service Lead to join our team. As the Lead Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for managing and leading the Occupational Therapy Service across the CAMHS and Adult services.
You will be working closely with the Therapy Lead and other members of the Senior Management Team to develop and implement individual and group interventions collaboratively with Service users.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and responding promptly to referrals, undertaking patient assessments to identify and prioritise patient needs before planning and delivering the appropriate and relevant interventions either on an individual or group basis.
- Working to develop living skills, rehabilitation, and educational opportunities/therapies under the strategic direction of the Therapy Lead and other members of the Senior Management Team.
- Ensuring the effective and efficient management of Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapist Assistants and students.
Requirements
- To be qualified and registered as an Occupational Therapist.
- At least 3 years post qualifying experience.
- Substantial experience of working within Mental Health, preferably with both CAMHS and Adult experience.
- Substantial experience of inpatient work.
