Job Description

**Job Title:** Mobile Gas Engineer - Commercial Gas Services

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Mobile Gas Engineer to join our team at Evolve Talent Search Ltd. As a Mobile Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for providing commercial gas, heating, and building services engineering maintenance to a variety of client properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • **Commercial Gas Maintenance:** Responsibility for commercial combustion, heating, and HVAC bias PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames to exceed customer expectations.
  • **Building Services Maintenance:** Responsibility for other types of building services maintenance to include fabric, HVAC, mechanical, and related tasks.
  • **Callout Response:** Provide callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota.
  • **Plant Room Maintenance:** Maintain the cleanliness of plant rooms, workshops, and storage areas.
  • **Installation and Repair:** Undertake new installations, major and minor repair works to clients' heating systems.
  • **Fault Finding:** Diagnose and repair faults on systems and plant, including basic electrical fault finding.
  • **Contractor Control:** Undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met. Issue of Permits to Work.
  • **Equipment Maintenance:** Ensure that all heating equipment within scope operates to specified performance criteria.
  • **Company Standards:** Ensure equipment and surrounding area conforms to agreed company standards.
  • **Professional Service:** Provide a professional service and represent the company in a way that ensures customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • **Previous Experience:** Previous experience in commercial environments providing gas, combustion, and heating-related building services maintenance to include fault finding, maintenance, and installation.
  • **Core Safety:** Core Safety: COCN1
  • **Domestic Core Gas Qualifications:** Domestic Core Gas Qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT1, CPA1, ICAE1
  • **Commercial Gas Qualifications:** Commercial Gas Qualifications: TPCP1A, ICPN1, CORT1, CIGA1
  • **Education:** City & Guilds / NVQ level 2/3 in Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, or related engineering discipline
  • **Gas Safe Registration:** Gas Safe Registered
  • **IPAF / PASMA:** IPAF / PASMA
  • **Full UK Driving License:** Full UK Driving License
