SEN Tutor Role Overview
At Remedy Recruitment Group, we are seeking a skilled SEN tutor to join our team. As a SEN tutor, you will work with children with Special Education Needs, providing face-to-face support to students with ASD, ADHD, PDA, SEMH, or PMLD at their homes or a local centre.
The role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons, applying skills to raise pupils' confidence, managing children with challenging behavior, and tracking learning progress to achieve desired outcomes. You will also be responsible for providing monthly reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver personalized lessons and resources around the student's needs
- Work with children with ASD, ADHD, PDA, SEMH, or PMLD
- Manage challenging behavior and provide emotional support
- Track learning progress and provide monthly reports
Requirements:
- Experience working with SEND students
- Valid enhanced child workforce DBS
- Ability to work as a self-employed tutor
How it Works:
You will work as a self-employed tutor, with our dedicated team referring suitable work to you. This could be for 1-2-1 basis after school or daytime for students who are currently being home-schooled. The work is fitted around your availability.
