Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to lead our Older Adult Psychology team in Lancashire and South Cumbria. As a key member of our mental health services, you will provide professional leadership and clinical expertise to support the well-being of older adults in our community.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing clinical leadership and supervision to junior colleagues
  • Working clinically with older adults in community settings
  • Developing and implementing effective mental health services for older adults
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care
  • Contributing to the development of clinical policies and guidelines

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent
  • HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical)
  • Experience working with older adults in community settings
  • Strong leadership and clinical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
