Community Development Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Community Development Coordinator to join our team at Leeds Bread Co-op. As a Community Development Coordinator, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering community-focused initiatives to improve the lives of our customers.

Salary: £22,000 - £27,000 per annum (dependent on experience).

Job Description:

About the Role

The successful candidate will have excellent project management skills and be able to work effectively with colleagues and external partners to develop and deliver community-focused initiatives.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and delivering community-focused initiatives to improve the lives of our customers;
  • Working closely with colleagues and external partners to achieve shared goals and objectives;
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with customers and stakeholders to improve service delivery and outcomes;
  • Identifying and addressing any issues or concerns that may impact on service delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience;
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
  • Knowledge of the role of the Council Housing Service and its responsibilities in managing homes and communities.
