Site Manager

Caval Limited is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the construction of a new car dealership showroom in Glasgow. The project involves managing a team of assistants, tradesmen, and subcontractors to deliver a £3m external works package.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial projects, with at least 5 years of experience working as a Site Manager or in a similar position. They will be responsible for ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations, managing documentation, and providing progress reports to stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a Black CSCS Card, NVQ Level 6 or 7, and SMSTS certification. They will also have extensive experience working on projects in excess of £10m and a strong history of managing packages such as externals, groundworks, steel frames, and internal fit-out.
The role will involve liaising with external contractors, coordinating tasks among various construction phases, and handling any arising issues or conflicts throughout the project duration. The successful candidate will also be responsible for keeping track of project expenditures, adhering to health and safety regulations, and managing daily site activities.
