Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Integrity Specialist to join our team at HCA Healthcare UK. As a key member of our revenue assurance team, you will play a crucial role in mitigating revenue loss and ensuring the accuracy of patient accounts.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with a minimum of one day per week in office. The contract is for a fixed term of nine months.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Investigate and Resolve Issues: Investigate and resolve issues with registration, charge-capture, and insurance authorisation on patient accounts that are preventing billing.
  2. Patient Account Revenue and Charge Queries: Investigate and resolve patient account revenue and charge queries from both internal and external stakeholders to support maximising reimbursement from accounts receivable (AR).
  3. Daily Data Reports: Process daily data reports to capture charges on patient accounts.
  4. SUPPORT FACILITY CLINICAL AND FINANCE TEAMS: Support facility clinical and finance teams in investigation, resolution, and prevention of charge rejections.
  5. Audit Patient Account Refunds: Audit patient account refunds, reporting on policy compliance to HODs.
  6. Training and Guiding Colleagues: Support with training and guiding colleagues in best-practice and implementing measures to prevent revenue leakage.
Requirements
  • Highly Computer Literate: Highly computer literate and technically proficient.
  • Technical Proficiency: Excellent technical skills and knowledge of financial systems and processes.
What We Offer
  • Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Holiday Allowance: 25 days holiday per year, increasing with service, plus bank holidays.
