About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Consultant Ophthalmologist to join our team at Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a specialist in Glaucoma, you will be responsible for developing and providing outpatient and surgical services for patients with this condition. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a leading healthcare organization, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist leadership, expertise and support to King's glaucoma service.
  • Conduct all activities within the contracted level of service and operating plan for service(s).
  • Exercise professional leadership for all staff working in the specialty.

Person Specification:
  • FRCOphth / MRCOphth or equivalent
  • Full Registration with GMC
  • Name on GMC Ophthalmology Specialist Register on date of taking up appointment

Estimated Salary: £123,000 per annum.

This is a full-time permanent role, working 40 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary package, along with opportunities for career development and progression.
