About the Role

Randstad Education is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team and support students with SEN in a local school.

Job Description

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide individualized support to students with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum and overcome challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons to students with SEN
  • Provide one-to-one support to students in the classroom and during extracurricular activities
  • Monitor student progress and report back to teachers
  • Contribute to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong passion for working with children with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Patience and understanding when dealing with challenging behaviors
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £24,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits and opportunities for professional development.
