Education Programme Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Education Programme Manager to join our team at South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the development and management of the Active Schools programme, working closely with sportscotland.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with extensive knowledge and experience of managing teams who work with young people in education, sport, health and physical activity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing effective strategies to promote active schools throughout South Lanarkshire
- Leading and managing a team of staff to deliver high-quality services
- Collaborating with local authorities, schools and community partners to enhance the Active Schools programme
For this role, we require:
- A proven track record of leading and developing teams in a similar context
- Extensive knowledge of education, sport and health policy and practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships
The salary for this position is £48,670 - £49,400 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including access to training and development opportunities, flexible working arrangements and a supportive team environment.
