Haverigg, Cumbria, United Kingdom BAE Systems Full time

About the Role:

Bulk-configured technical documents must be accurate, up-to-date, and secure. This requires constant vigilance and proactive effort by experienced technical specialists. In this role, you will oversee the complete data lifecycle – creation, revision, validation, approval, distribution, and archiving – all under strict security protocols.

Securely storing and retrieving master files via APIs, and keeping multiple revisions current through configuration management systems, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that data integrity remains uncompromised. A keen eye for detail and dedication to process will serve you well in monitoring hundreds of assets for accuracy and synchronization.

Key Job Functions:

  • Manage technical document configuration, migration, and compliance.
  • Create, edit, validate, and distribute asset configurations.
  • Coordinate asset tracking and inventory records.
  • Perform system audits to maintain high standards of security.
  • Provide periodic status updates to stakeholders.

How You Will Succeed:

  • Demonstrate expertise in Configuration Management principles.
  • Set priorities to manage workload effectively.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with peers and superiors.
  • Communicate progress and changes clearly.

Qualifications and Competencies:

Required Skills:

  • Experience in product development, manufacturing, quality assurance, or logistics.
  • Strong understanding of total product life cycle management.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard tools and software.
  • Prior experience with large datasets or concurrent workflows.

Salary: £50,818+ per year, contingent upon relevant qualifications and experience.
