Quantitative Equity Researcher - Buy Side

Octavius Finance is seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Equity Researcher to join our team. As a key member of our buy-side research team, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis to identify opportunities for alpha generation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quantitative models to identify and exploit market inefficiencies
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers to develop and implement investment strategies
  • Monitor and manage portfolio risks using advanced analytics tools
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments to inform investment decisions
Requirements:
  • PhD in a relevant field (e.g. finance, mathematics, computer science) or equivalent experience
  • Strong background in quantitative methods and statistical analysis
  • Excellent programming skills in languages such as Python or R
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
