Job Title: Senior Quantitative Equity Researcher

SEI Investments (Europe) Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative Equity Researcher to join our team in London. As a key member of our Quantitative Investment Management team, you will be responsible for developing stock selection signals, maintaining and enhancing proprietary models, and assisting in managing assigned portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research (30%): Undertake research, validation, back-testing, and production of return and risk factors; document and communicate the findings; keep current with relevant publications
  • Infrastructure (30%): maintain and actively contribute to enhancement and design of the research and production infrastructure;
  • Portfolio Management (20%): assist in managing assigned portfolios and perform ongoing fund management duties
  • Communication (20%): produce client- and publication-worthy research papers; assist in creating, and maintaining sales and service materials
Requirements:
  • Expertise in quantitative analysis and dealing with large data sets
  • Expertise in a high-level programming language such as Python or R
  • Strong communication skills: able to argue a point concisely and deal with conflicting views
  • Hands-on attitude: willing to get involved with various projects across the group
