Cloud Transformation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Transformation Engineer to join our team at the OSB Group. Located in the UK, this exciting opportunity will enable you to shape and deliver a comprehensive cloud platform for our business.
Company OverviewThe OSB Group is a leading specialist mortgage lender, primarily focused on carefully selected segments of the mortgage market. Our specialist lending is supported by our Kent Reliance and Charter Savings Bank retail savings franchises.
About the RoleThis is a hands-on role with a delivery focus on implementing and maintaining the cloud platform foundation and control plane that covers provisioning, telemetry, networking, and integration into the organisation-wide services. You will work closely with multiple teams within the OSB Group to ensure comprehensive coverage of requirements for the Cloud platform across the Group.
Key Responsibilities:- To design, build and operate cloud services that multiple engineering teams can use within their products to help them deliver value faster, safer, and more reliably.
- To support architects to make design choices that will scale and be easy to operate within Cloud services and provide guidance on security/performance/operational constraints.
- To build and operate observability platforms to support logging, monitoring, alerting and telemetry services to ensure reliable operation of the platform and systems consuming the platform.
- Demonstrable experience of building and operating observability platforms to support logging, monitoring, alerting and telemetry services to ensure reliable operation of the platform and systems consuming the platform.
- Knowledge and experience working common scripting languages and tools such as PowerShell.
We offer a competitive salary of £80,000 - £90,000 per annum dependent on location and experience, along with a range of benefits including:
