About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Bennett & Game Recruitment, a leading recruitment agency specializing in technical placements. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients in the retail and interior fit-out sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze costs for tenders and contracts
  • Value completed work on site and certify payments
  • Conduct value engineering and estimate cost variations
  • Prepare cost reports and cash flows
  • Complete final accounts and prepare Bill of Quantities

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the retail and interior fit-out sectors
  • Excellent cost management and estimation skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and methodical approach to tasks
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with clients and stakeholders
  • Experience working for a main contractor, preferably on fit-out packages
  • Background in cost estimating is desirable
