Quantity Surveyor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Bennett & Game Recruitment. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of retail and interior fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and manage cost plans, budget estimates, and construction contracts
  • Value completed work on site and certify payments
  • Conduct value engineering and estimate cost variations
  • Prepare cost reports and cash flows
  • Complete final accounts and prepare Bill of Quantities
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably in the retail, hospitality, and commercial sectors
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts and cost management
