About the Role

Xpress Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior CDP to join the kitchen brigade of a prestigious city-centre hotel. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing a section in the day-to-day running of the main kitchen, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a section of the kitchen, overseeing daily tasks and prep to ensure efficient operations
  • Supervise junior members, providing guidance and support to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Work closely with the Sous and Head Chef to achieve great results and drive culinary excellence
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, Food Safety, and Allergen Legislation standards
  • Organize and prioritize a busy workload, maintaining a keen eye for detail and remaining calm under pressure
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar hotel environment, with banqueting/event experience desirable
  • Strong passion for delivering exceptional service and a good working knowledge of culinary operations
