About the Role

Carmichael UK is seeking a skilled Site Engineer with Structures experience to join their team on a highways project in Gloucestershire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage setting out works to ensure they are constructed within allowable tolerances.
  • Ensure the workforce understands setting out information and that it is suitable for the type of work being carried out.
  • Support the Section Engineer & Sub Agent role and assist in providing project progress reports, accurate site diaries, and as-built surveys.
  • Liaise with other members of the Scheme Team responsible for the delivery of the project on time and on budget.
  • Provide and maintain setting out and dimensional control to ensure accurate construction of the work.
  • Supervise site activities and assist in the management of sub-contractors.
Requirements
  • Relevant construction-related degree/HNC and/or background in Major civils.
  • Holder of CSCS card, SMSTS.

This role is ideal for individuals with a strong understanding of construction principles and a passion for delivering high-quality projects.
