Patient Transport Coordinator

As a Patient Transport Coordinator with EMED Group, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives by transporting elderly, sick and vulnerable service users to and from their medical appointments.
This is a highly rewarding role where you will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of patients. The ideal candidate will be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends, and hold a full UK driving licence with less than 6 points.
You will also need to be willing to pass an Enhanced DBS check and have a good degree of physical fitness. As a representative of EMED Group, you will be expected to maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor when interacting with patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport service users to and from medical appointments and between healthcare facilities
- Build rapport with patients and their relatives/friends
- Responsible for lifting, securing and helping service users in and out of the Ambulance
- Ensure the ambulance is kept safe, clean and tidy
