About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Junior PMO to join our team at Treliant. As a key member of our Project Management Office, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-priority projects for our top-tier investment banking clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning and execution of transformation programs, delivering material risk or regulatory-oriented changes
  • Support the review of processes and operating models, and contribute to the development of recommendations for improvement
  • Contribute to the assessment of controls processes and the definition of solutions to optimize or deliver more robust controls
  • Support large-scale regulatory remediation activities, focusing on the delivery of changes to close findings, align processes, improve management and control, and enhance data management
  • Work on projects for top-tier investment banking clients, with a strong focus on business process, data flows, and digital transformation
  • Organize meetings and facilitate workshops to drive project progress
  • Contribute to the management of the overall program plan, risks, issues, dependencies, and assumptions
  • Develop periodic communication packs to share project progress and status
  • Learn on the job and develop a good understanding of the domain, business process, and changes to enable increased contribution
  • Identify challenges and proactively seek to resolve or escalate risks and issues in a timely and well-articulated manner to the project team
  • Produce accurate and insightful project update materials and artifacts, tailored to various forums and committees
  • Liaise with project leads and stakeholders to understand and cascade guidance and requirements, ensuring adherence to PMO standards
  • Manage and maintain project plan standards
  • Provide regular quality checks of milestones, deliverables, tasks within project plans
  • Review change request forms and confirm required sign-offs
  • Leverage project tracking tools and provide update/reports on an ad-hoc basis
Requirements
  • A 2.1 degree in a finance, legal, or STEM subject
  • 1+ years' experience working on projects or professional services projects (ideally for investment banks or Big 4 consulting firms, with relevant experience in other professional industries acceptable)
  • Good understanding of investment banking organizations, processes, and platforms
  • Some knowledge of investment banking products, trade life cycle, and operational processes
  • Good project experience delivering change within a bank in a PM/PMO or coordination type role
  • PMP, Prince 2, or other project management qualification an advantage but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of seniority
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with good relationship building and engagement skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
