Job Title: Senior Maths Instructor

Wayman Recruitment Group is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated maths teacher to join our team in Camden. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant and supportive school environment that encourages a deep passion for mathematics among students.

**Job Description:**
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and differentiated maths lessons to students in accordance with the national curriculum.
  • They will also be expected to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and fosters a love for maths.
  • Assessment and monitoring of student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for their academic development will be key responsibilities.
  • Collaboration with colleagues to contribute to the design and implementation of the maths curriculum will be essential.
  • Utilizing various teaching methodologies and resources to cater to the diverse needs of students will be crucial.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance will be required.
  • Effective communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns will be necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) and a relevant degree in maths or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching maths in a primary or secondary school setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and its application to maths education.
  • Strong ability to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • Effective classroom management skills, with the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for staying up-to-date with current educational practices.

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum
