Overview:

Caramel Talent Limited is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Worker to join our team at a supportive Children's Residential Care Home. Our homes provide a nurturing environment for children and young people, focusing on their growth and development.

The Role:

As a Residential Childcare Worker, you will be responsible for the daily care and support of children and young people within the home. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the daily living activities of children and young people, ensuring their needs are met and they feel safe and supported.
  • Assisting with the administration of medication and following care plans and procedures to ensure the health and safety of all residents.
  • Participating in activities and outings, encouraging the social, emotional, and physical development of the young people.
  • Maintaining positive relationships with young people, promoting their self-esteem, independence, and personal growth.
  • Ensuring all safeguarding protocols are in place and adhered to.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong commitment to the welfare of young people, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
