Convenience Store Business Development Manager

Zachary Daniels Recruitment is partnering with a major convenience retailer to find a talented individual to drive membership and sales across parts of Devon and Somerset.
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced New Business Manager to join our client's team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in a similar role, with a strong network of independent retailers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive growth and increase market share
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective independent retailers
- Conduct in-person visits and presentations to win new business
- Prepare and deliver clear and effective proposals and quotations
- Collaborate with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics, and technical service groups to achieve sales targets
- Present sales activity, success, and pipeline updates to senior management
The ideal candidate will have recent experience in a similar New Business Manager role for a convenience store retailer, with a strong understanding of the independent retail market.
What We OfferOur client offers a competitive salary of up to £35,000, plus an uncapped bonus of £1,000 for each new independent operator brought into the business, as well as a car and benefits package.
