Finance Executive Opportunity

A leading service sector organisation near Preston in Lancashire requires a skilled Finance Manager to assist in recruiting a fully qualified professional.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production of monthly management accounts (profit & loss and balance sheet)
  • Completion of Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Analysis of monthly costs & investigation of variances to budget/forecast
  • Assistance with preparation of annual budgets & monthly and quarterly forecasts
  • Assistance with production of supporting schedules for annual statutory accounts & tax returns
  • Ad hoc analysis as required
  • Open communication and building good working relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Effective communication with team colleagues and driving improvements in processes
Requirements:
  • Ideal candidate: CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified Accountant
  • Previous management experience in a finance-based role
  • High volume business background experience
  • Service sector accounting background advantageous
  • Good proficiency in Excel (v lookups & pivot tables)
