This is a full-time, permanent position with consistent working hours of 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, based on experience, taking into account the location in Leyland and the level of responsibility involved.

Job Description

As a Nursery Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years. This includes supporting children's learning and development in line with EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage), assisting with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and outdoor activities, and working closely with parents and other team members to ensure the best outcomes for children.

You will also be responsible for promoting a safe and nurturing environment for all children, and contributing to the overall well-being of the nursery.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
  • Passionate about working with children and supporting their development
  • Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting (desirable)
  • A positive, caring attitude and excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team
