Maintenance Engineer - Facilities Management

Alecto Recruitment is working with a well-established facilities management business to find a skilled Maintenance Engineer.

The company has over 25 years of experience and is looking for a candidate to join their team due to continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues with minimal disruption to the site
  2. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance work
  3. Manage first-line responses to service requests
  4. Conduct minor decoration and refurbishment tasks
  5. Clear blockages in sinks, toilets, and drains as needed
  6. Repair leaks, replace tap washers, and fix ballcocks
  7. Adjust doors, tighten hinges, and replace or fit locks and door closers

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience as a maintenance assistant or similar role
  2. Proven property/building maintenance experience in carpentry, plumbing, tiling, and decoration
  3. Experience with PPM and reporting of PPM activities and breakdowns
  4. Ability to take on high levels of responsibility
  5. Enthusiasm and motivation
  6. Full UK driving license
