About the Role

We are seeking an Assistant Meeting and Events Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. You will manage all enquiries for Meetings & Events, offering the highest level of customer service and ensuring that, when possible, the enquiry becomes a sale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the M&E Sales Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Manage all enquiries for Meetings & Events courteously and efficiently.
  • Keep in close contact with all prospective Meeting & Events organisers to ensure that all their requirements are accurately recorded.
  • Control the business mix to ensure maximum revenue at all opportunities.
  • Run the weekly Sales Meeting and ensure follow-ups are done.
  • Run long pace reports to monitor the diary for future years and take actions where necessary.
  • Fully support the Sales Team in obtaining leads and participate in telesales when necessary.
  • Actively participate in promotional and publicity activities as and when requested.

  • Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees, and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand, and the Company.
  • Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational, and training abilities.
  • Good writing skills.
