About the Job:
As a Skilled Despatch Operative, you will be responsible for receiving, picking, and loading out of chilled food products. You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment, prioritising hygiene, safety, and process control. Your duties will include:
- Receiving and storing chilled food products
- Picking and loading out products to meet customer demand
- Operating scanning guns to work with our systems
- Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment
- Participating in health and safety procedures and set standards
- Ensuring information is treated as confidential
- Participating and promoting the Avara Vision and Values
Requirements:
- Good level of English and basic numeracy skills
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
- Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
- Experience within a warehouse environment is desirable but not essential
