Job Title: Technical Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Technical Estimator to join our team at SKILLFRAME. As a Technical Estimator, you will play a crucial role in creating and issuing remedial quotations within our business SLA.

About the Role:
  • Review and translate engineer reports to create new quotes
  • Use costing sheets to build quotations accurately
  • Research material and equipment costs
  • Assess the levels of risk on job
  • Liaise with engineers to ensure quotes are prepared accurately
  • Issue quotations directly to the client within business SLA (3 - 5 working days)
Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for a large portfolio of clients, working closely with our service team to ensure that quotes are prepared accurately and issued within the required timeframe. You will also be responsible for researching material and equipment costs, assessing the levels of risk on job, and liaising with engineers to ensure that quotes are prepared accurately.

Requirements:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to use a computer and main software packages competently
  • Thorough and attention to detail at all times
  • Analytical thinking skills, a proactive nature, and sense of urgency at all times
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
