About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Career Development team at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital as an Apprentice Career Development Coordinator. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the team and contribute to the delivery of various programs, including Apprenticeships, Work Experience, and Pre-Employment Programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for enquiries relating to Apprenticeships, Work Experience, Pre-Employment Programs, and End Point Assessment, and respond in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Monitor an apprentice's progress for successful entrance of End Point Assessment gateway to complete their apprenticeship, and escalate concerns in a timely manner.
  • Book in and attend pre-gateway and gateway meetings for Apprentices going through End Point Assessment, and take minutes and actions during the meetings.
  • Support the recruitment process for apprentices, including booking interviews, sending through funding forms to successful applicants, and checking Trac Jobs for application updates and start dates.
  • Update the Skills Academy Social Media accounts and internet/intranet web pages and create content using online design tools.
  • Maintain computerised filing systems.
  • Produce and disseminate minutes associated with meetings, and follow up on any action points.
  • Provide administrative support for the Apprenticeship, work experience, and pre-employment programs, along with ad-hoc programs and opportunities as requested.
  • Order resources, stationery, and preparing leaflets and documentations for careers fairs and events.
  • When requested, attend recruitment and careers fairs with the Career Development Facilitator, and provide advice and guidance on NHS Careers and associated Apprenticeships.

  • 4 GCSEs at C/4 or above (ideally to include Maths & English).
