Key Responsibilities:

  • Month-end accounting and financial reporting
  • Maintaining the balance sheet and ensuring its accuracy
  • Reviewing and reconciling balance sheet accounts
  • Supporting the coordination of the month-end close process
  • Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts and corporation tax/VAT returns
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Performing weekly bank reconciliations
  • Coordinating payment approvals and ensuring timely processing
  • Collating VAT data and documentary evidence to support VAT recovery
  • Coordinating VAT recovery with stakeholders
  • Investigating and resolving unevidenced VAT balances

Requirements:

  • General accounting and finance analyst experience
  • Qualified accountant or finalist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills
