An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Medical Receptionist to join the team at Pen Y Cae Surgery in Ebbw Vale. Job Summary:
The post is for 25 hours per week, Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am-6:30pm.
Key Responsibilities:- Reception and routing of patients on arrival.
- Dealing with enquiries by telephone, email and in person.
- Recording requests for visits and telephone calls.
- Computer data entry/data allocation and collation; filing of medical records as required.
- Administrative duties such as scanning, filing, patient registrations and deductions, My Health Online.
- Leaving the reception area tidy and ready for colleagues taking over the next session.
- Tidying the reception area and the waiting area at the end of each session.
About You:
- Excellent communication skills including verbal and written English.
- Maths/English A-C or functional skills level 2 evidence.
- Competent in IT skills including Microsoft Office.
What We Offer:
- $44 per hour.
- On-site parking.
- Monday to Friday.
