Deputy Head of School for Science, Technology, Engineering & Professional

The College is seeking a Deputy Head of School to lead the School of Science, Technology, Engineering & Professional. This role combines leadership and management of the school with a wider operational role for the College. The successful candidate will join the College Management Group, working closely with other Deputy Heads of School and Managers from support services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the School of Science, Technology, Engineering & Professional, driving academic excellence and student success.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the school's reputation and performance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a culture of innovation, creativity, and excellence.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and personnel to achieve school goals.
  • Represent the school and College at external events and partnerships.
Requirements:
  • Proven leadership and management experience in a similar role.
  • Strong academic background in science, technology, engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with colleagues, students, and external partners.
