Deputy Head of School for Science, Technology, Engineering & Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Head of School to join our College Management Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the School of Science, Technology, Engineering & Professional, while also contributing to the wider operational role of the College.

About the Role

The Deputy Head of School will be a key member of the College Management Group, working closely with the Deputy Heads of School from each School and Managers from other areas of the College support services. The role combines leadership and management of the school with a wider operational role for the College.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage the School of Science, Technology, Engineering & Professional
  2. Contribute to the College Management Group, working closely with other Deputy Heads of School and Managers
  3. Develop and implement strategies to improve the school's performance and reputation
  4. Manage budgets and resources to ensure the effective delivery of the school's objectives
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and effective College-wide approach
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Proven leadership and management experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience of managing budgets and resources
