Job Overview

Sodexo is seeking a skilled and experienced Cleaner and Team Trainer to join our cleaning teams. This exciting role offers the opportunity to travel to various locations, covering a range of sites within a 15-mile radius.

As a Cleaner and Team Trainer, you will be responsible for performing cleaning duties at our Cambus site and holding practical training sessions on cleaning procedures, equipment use, and safety protocols with team members across local sites.

You will create a positive, supportive learning environment for team members and collaborate with them to motivate and inspire a spotless environment.

Working closely with the management team, you will provide feedback on training needs and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cleaning duties at our Cambus site (10 hours per week)
  • Hold practical training sessions on cleaning procedures, equipment use, and safety protocols with team members across local sites
  • Create a positive, supportive learning environment for team members
  • Collaborate with team members to motivate and inspire a spotless environment
  • Work closely with the management team to feedback training needs and development opportunities
Requirements
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and products with a strong cleaning background
  • A team player, with excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility to travel to various locations within a 15-mile radius (own mode of transport required)
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and safety
