Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Chief Portfolio Governance Officer, Director of Implementation Strategy, or Head of Alpha Implementation Management, depending on your preference.



  • Develop and implement strategic and efficiency improvement activities for the Alpha Implementation Portfolio, identifying and executing priorities.
  • Manage day-to-day activities to ensure the implementation portfolio runs smoothly, continuously driving for ways to enhance efficiency and/or simplification.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to improve responsiveness across a multi-stakeholder model.
  • Support the Alpha Implementation lead in holding the implementation management accountable to their commitments, ensuring the business unit's goals are met.
  • Develop and monitor Implementation budgets, actuals, and forecasts in partnership with finance and Client Implementation Executives.
  • Manage the business's hiring plan to budget and commercial oversight of prospective deals, including approval and governance.
  • Manage internal funding disputes and commitments across the Alpha stakeholders and management information reporting across the implementation portfolio.
  • Manage strategic partner relations, mediate and resolve disputes, and deputise for implementation lead at nominated internal committees.

  • Leadership and ability to bring together teams across different levels and disciplines within the organization.
  • Outstanding presentation, communication (oral & written), and relationship-building skills across all levels of management.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and relationship management skills.
  • A strong understanding of financial markets and investment management processes.
  • A degree qualified with a financial or analytical discipline preferred, or relevant experience within the financial services industry.
  • Experience in organizing and directing multiple teams and departments.
  • Leadership and an ability to bring together teams across different levels and disciplines within the organization.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives.
  • Desire and willingness to drive to the root cause of issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
