Clinical Therapist

Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-intensity therapy to individuals with complex needs, including those with a diagnosis of personality disorder and/or a history of self-harm and substance misuse.
- Work effectively in multidisciplinary settings, collaborating with nursing, psychiatry, assistant psychologists, clinical psychologists, art therapy, occupational therapy, and neurodiversity practitioners.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of inclusive and trauma-informed pathways of care.
- Provide training and advice to other professional and non-professional groups on psychological information and consultation.
- Doctoral-level training in clinical, counselling, or forensic psychology, accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
- HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- Experience working with complex trauma, personality disorder, and dual diagnoses.
- Skills in complex methods of psychological assessment, intervention, and management, including sustained and intense concentration.
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, complex information to clients, families, carers, and professional colleagues.
