About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead two teams of experienced support workers, delivering 24-hour assistance to individuals with diverse needs. The teams are based in two small blocks, providing a supportive environment for people to live independently. The role requires a highly skilled and patient manager, capable of handling emotionally challenging situations and developing intensive support plans to ensure the safety and quality of life for the individuals supported.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead two teams of support workers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care and support.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each person.
  • Manage and coordinate 24-hour assistance, ensuring that the needs of the individuals supported are met at all times.
  • Collaborate with the established team of support workers, who are knowledgeable and friendly, to provide a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in health and social care.

Requirements:

  • Professional qualification in Health and Social Care, such as a Nurse, Social Worker, or SVQ Level 3 plus supervisory units.
  • Experience working in a managerial role in health and social care, with a focus on supporting individuals with complex needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with individuals, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
