We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead our residential home and outreach service in Fort William, Scotland.

About the Role:

As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the residential home and reporting back to the Area Manager. You will also match families in the local community with workers in your team who will support them to get back on track and ultimately keep their children from being taken into care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a residential home and outreach service
  • Supervise staff and maintain staff rota and logs
  • Support the social and physical needs of children with disabilities
  • Co-ordinate with wider care team
  • Maintain professional manner and work to National Care Standards
  • Foster a positive working environment for the team under your leadership
  • Handle admissions, placements, and transitions smoothly

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a similar position or demonstrable experience that you are ready for the next step
  • Demonstrate ability to successfully lead a team
  • Solid knowledge of care regulations and safeguarding policies in Scotland
  • Register under the PVG scheme
  • Full driving licence
  • Obtained SVQ level 4 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent
  • PDA Leadership and Management for Care Services is advantageous but not necessary
